So I got the Tamron 28-75. I'm looking into my next lens and i've got a few in the mix. Sigma 100-300, Canon 400L, Canon 100-400, suggestions.

I rented the 400L while back and loved it. I just don't think I can justiy buying a lens like that, due to the limited use it'd get, since it's fixed focal @ 400. If I got the 400L i'd prob want something in the middle, which would be the Canon 70-200 f/4L.

The Sigma 100-300 would def get alot more use, more range. I know it's heavy, but my other consideration was getting the Sigma 70-200 2.8 which looks to weigh about the same. What i've seen the 100-300 is a very nice, sharp lens. I'm sure some will say max focal at 300mm might be short for wildlife.

Canon 100-400 also looks very nice but expensive. And I don't know how i'd like the push/pull.

As for what I have now, 350D, kit lens, 50 1.8 and Tamron 28-75.

You may now begin the pumeling.

One of the 70-200 f2.8 versions and a 1.4 teleconverter IMO.

Next contestant?

Based on everything you've said, the Canon 300 f4 L IS USM (and a 1.4x when needed).
