Nice Bike and nice pic. I love the red rims and all black frame. But I don't know if I like the spray paint on the wall. I think it would be better without it.

Throw a girl in there and you will have a hundred more views.

Pretty ride, Mike!

I agree.

Throw a girl in there and you will have a hundred more views.

True! And one of them might even result in a comment! :D

Good luck with the magazine!

I really like that bike. Bobbers are a favourite of mine to shoot. I did one this summer of a close friend and I'd like to shoot some more:

there's not much 'old school' about that bike, it's a softail for a start :D. The pic is nice and sharp, well exposed with good colour...the background sucks, I try to do shoots with the bike as far away from BG as possible. If that's not possible then a plain BG is the best.

You saw the forks right? The seat? Then again, most think that anything made in the past 40 years is new school.

Agreed, the background isn't that hot but go pick up any custom bike mag and the photography leaves much to be desired. This is a far cry from that quality (in the good direction).

At least it's a not a brick wall.

Jason I've seen and shot enough new old school chops to know that old school means rigid for a start lol...springer forks and a seat don't make an old school chop. I didn't rubbish the photo btw, just the choice of BG.

My Indian Larry frame and gas tank with a Shovelhead motor. He was a King as far as old school. IMO

now that's what I'm talking about....I prefer a 130 rear wheel myself though, despite a wide providing more cushion :D. Sorry to hijack your thread Mike!
