I at one time was very close-minded to tattoos at one time, until I opened my eyes and realized that behind most tattoos are a story. Each one has its own to tell. I love talking about tattoos, I like looking at them, and I liked getting them (one).

You would be surprised at the underlying reason why someone has one, some sad, some scary, some very heartfelt. All portray a feeling when looked upon those who have them.

Ive heard the excuse "Imagine what it will look like when you get older, it could look ugly."
My response "Everything on my body when I get older will look ugly."

Here is a collection of photos Ive taken of tattoos. Mostly of friends and family but will be getting more of various people, just have to wait until it gets warmer. Id like to shoot more outside as well. Notice the first ones have the same background;)

It would make a nice series. I, personally think you should keep them B/W like the first, but that's just my $.02.

I think the lighting and all on the first one is smack on...I love the focus it brings. The one of your friend (last one) is pretty good too.

My gear list finally got too long to list under my sig.

Only reason the mine was in B&W is it was taken literally 25 minutes after it was inked. So it was pretty red and swollen. Didnt want that to show so the best way is to convert. Thanks anyway though:)

Yeah I had to get away and de-POTN myself:p
I have talked to many since getting mine and thats why my view has changed so much. Ive learned not to be so judgemental on outward appearance, some of the kindest people Ive talked to have A LOT of tattoos. Really is true, cant judge a book by its cover.

Thank you, his is pretty cool. Im gonna have to cheat a lil and airbrush some tattoos on a model waiting for the shoot. Still should come out nice.
