I bought my template on the 13th, got an email on the 14th confirming my purchase. on the 16th I received another email with my username and password to allow me to access my template to make changes.

I sent them a request to go live early on the 22nd. Less than 24 hours later my site went live.

Just before I went live I sent them an email/support ticket asking if I could change my template. They responded within a couple hours stating that I couldn't, but I could buy the other template. I replied back asking if I had to pay another $100 for them to host the site. A response was received almost immediately saying that I DIDN'T have to pay an additional $100 since I was hosting with them already.

I just sent them another ticket requesting a CNAME be created so that people can have a masked URL when they get sent to exposuremanager to view proofs/galleries. That's one disappointment I have in Bludomain. They don't have a fulfillment service. I guess that's not a customer service issue, though.

Looks like Blu's coming out of the hole they found themselves in. I have been completely satisfied w/ their response time so far.

See, this REALLY pisses me off!!!! (not at you guys) I ordered my site Dec 27th have sent support tickets, e-mails ect, and have yet to recieve anything that even acknowledges my purchase, when people who bought sites WEEKS after I did can already start working on theirs! By reading their blogs, I've seen I'm not the only one. I'm just super frustrated ~sigh~ thanks for letting me vent.

Exactly they are HORRIBLE. Have you also notice they don't have the comments turned on anymore on their blog page? It was getting blasted by comments.

If you go to 'blu news' under the blog section, the top comment box is still open, and has some pretty pissy comments on it. That was good buisness sense removing the boxes, because people were outraged and likely scaring away new customers (too bad I didn't see it first). What happens if everyone who feels abandoned like me makes a chargeback on their CC or paypal? Am I mistaken, or will they not dump Blu's account with them after so many complaints?

Bumping an older topic. I've been having an awful time with bludomain, and tonight I am going to try and make my site live myself, if it's as simple as I think it is, I should have no problem. I host on godaddy.

I want to say in response to an earlier post.. I've used godaddy for around four years now and on the couple of occasions I've called CS, they were GREAT, super friendly, and fixed my problems quickly. I love godaddy!

I am super cool n' stuff.

Funny you should bring this up. I ordered bludomain site and am hosting through godaddy.......blu's people are telling me that godaddy is not working.....I emailed them asking what is not working? No response back.
No wonder they do not have a telephone number on their website!!! $#%

Bludomain warning, as with the 2309283049230948209343 people who have experienced bad stuff from this company.

I didn't get a single email in response to purchasing one of their sites. I paid $200 dollars for a site, and its now going to be 8 days w/o a single response. I have submitted about 20 missing site inquiries, made up 10 support tickets, and not a single response.
These people are insane

Have you tried sending something to them using an alternate email address? There have been reports of emails getting filtered out as spam.

I feel I have to update this post because I had an interesting first interaction with Bludomain. After hearing all the bad reports, after not getting my website in 2 days I kinda emailed them back with a very abrupt and to the point email. They responded INSTANTLY after this email and we got into an email shouting match. I guess the squeeky wheel gets the grease. It was a Friday night and the rep Aundrea actually set up my site friday night and I was sent the link that evening. I was able to access my back end portral friday. My request to go live was put in early Saturday morning, and I was live by Sunday afternoon.

After being very nervous about their 'service', I must say they pulled through and got my stuff done very very quickly. The few times I had an issue over the 5 days of purchasing to Live time, they responded pretty quick.

This all being said, I am happy with how they ended up taking care of my concerns and getting my site out to me as soon as possible.
