Bringing back a dead post here... I just started using bludomain this year, and have always received a response to my support tickets within 2-4 hours. There may have been one occasion on a Sunday that it took until Monday. My issue is with the performance of my current host (imhosted.com *beware*). I am looking to switch to godaddy or 1and1 and found this thread while doing a search for compatability with godaddy. I called godaddy CS and asked if they supported all the things blu asks for, and they couldn't give me a positive answer. I'd be happy to hear if any of you guys are already using godaddy, 1and1, hostmonster, or hostgator, as they are all possibilities for me.

I host with Bluehost.com (not associated with Blu Domain) and I know they do. I have 2 Blu templates on my Bluehost.

I, for one, am sick of Blu's awful service. My site broke shortly after it was delivered and i've had no response from them at all. It's been weeks.

I started a group on facebook to try to help them understand how many of us there are that feel the customer service is important and I got an email from them the next day (apparently they DO write personal emails) from Aundrea saying

"You will need to remove your "play" on your logo because if it remains up there on Monday then we will file a court claim on Monday at 10 AM.

Everything about BLU is heavily protected. Have a nice day!"

That was it. Nothing about customer service or my site or anything.

Anyway - the group is here -- join up to help make a statement.

thanks

Yea, they do have serious customer service issues. I've been hosting with them for a few years, and luckily have never really had to deal with their customer support except for a few times. Those times were acceptable. Not great, not bad, but acceptable. But hearing from others, its obvious they do have issues.

My experience with Blu was nothing short of awful. I wouldn't go near them again and would not recommend them to anyone. They lie, stall, and just plain ignore you whenever it suits them.

But then again I know someone who has had a site with them without any issues for a couple of years...

Their customer service seems to be hit and miss and personally I don't think it's worth the risk.
