Does anyone use DxO Optics? I just watched their short video demo online and it looks like an amazing product. Does anyone know if there are discounts on their software?
Thanks.

I tried it, and without reading the help found it too hard to use. There's a few thread on it like this one.

I am a satisfied user of DxO, versions 3.x through 5.0x.

However, I think that they should support more lenses for the newer camera bodies. For example, they never supported my (now sold) Sigma 12-24 for the 30D. And their support for lenses for the 40D is very limited.

Their lens/camera model is to develop customized correction-modules for each supported lens. But once they have done this, I see no reason why that module shouldn't work for any camera body, past, present, and future.

One of my additional complaints is that they are unwilling to reveal their plans for future lens/camera modules. I find their software useful enough that it is a significant factor in my purchase of camera bodies and lenses, but would like to know their intentions.

As an owner of versions 3.x through 5.0.3, I find that the newest version is not to difficult to use - easier than versions 4.x. It is very good for automated image fix-up with default parameters. Adjusting the default paramaters does, however, take some learning.

Sure it is expensive, but an enormous time saver. I can give it 500 images, let DxO process them, and go away to do something else.

As far as I know, they haven't ever offered discounts.

I really like the 'feel' and output from this product but when I tried it it didn't run on Windows x64, so no good to me as that is what i have on my desktop. I settled on Bibble Pro instead - am very happy with it generally, they offer decent support and also they seem to update regularly. Both my 40D and G9 were catered for quickly.
