That is pretty interesting.

It is interesting concept, but it is not new.
Back in the Seventies, when I learned photography, we used to call it simply, Big and Small Diagonals.

Theres also a theory of 4/5ths which is similar to the rule of thirds but the sweet spots are pushed out more towards the edges of the frame. We studied all of those in two dimensional design in the 80s.
