I've never bought anything from J&R before. Amazon is fine except their free shipping takes a while to actually ship out.

Thanks for posting this. Because of your posting, I checked Amazon and they are offering the same price ($1,149.99 + free shipping). I bought the 40d body 2 weeks ago from Amazon for $1207.59. So, I called Amazon customer service and asked for a price adjustment. They said no problem and proceeded to refund me $57.60.
