I know this is rather trivial,my wife would say its anal.
But does anyone sell a nice black slip on hotshoe cover? I don't use on camera flash much and hate the way the silver hotshoe looks on top, kinda looks like something from inside the camera is sticking out. I'm looking for a nice sleak look for the top of my 40D.:D

Close. I was hoping for something that would completly cover the silver part of the hotshoe. Thanks

Just remember that a hot shoe cover will cause you to get flash errors if you or the camera try to pop it up with the cover in place. It may also jam the micro switch that tells the camera a hot shoe flash is in place so you get the error even with the cover removed.

I never use a setting that would cause the flash to pop up. But thanks for the warning about the micro switch .

Dang I just saw one the other day that was actually pretty nice looking and covered the entire hot shoe. Was going to buy it myself but I lost the link.... Trying to find it again now.

Even if you only shoot outside you should still be using fill flash pretty often?
