Thanks for the kind comments.

This started off as a basic smoke picture, which many other people have done before me( so not my idea ) Found a tutorial here: http://www.dpchallenge​.com/tutorial.php?TUTO​RIAL_ID=59 (external link)

the smoke image was duplicated as a freeform layer and the it can be manouvered the get the required effect and then a colour/transition layer applied.

these are a bit like water drops, everyone shuold have a go at some time as they are fun to do.

do a search on smoke pictures and you will find lots of better pics and info availible on this site + a few links to website galleries with stunning examples.

Happy shooting for 2008 ;)

canon 28-135mm IS,
canon 50mm f1.8,
Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD 1:2.
