I'd poke around in the Delaware water gap recreation area. I worked at Peters Valley craft center for 14 weeks this summer and it was beautiful!

It would help if you gave us an idea of where you are in NJ.

Yeah, I'm in Central jersey. So, I'd say the Diners. A diner picture is always better if you say you took it in Jersey lol.

And the parks are nice for plants.

...as in like to get good landscapes etc.

Be humorous while going places in Jersey. NATURAL state of Pine Barrens (Oswego), representative of the state's juxtaposition of natural and man made landscapes:

NJ is great for man made landscapes: http://aesop.rutgers.edu …lides/BorgataCasino_1.htm (external link)
Others
Sunsets over lower DE bay, since the Ocean at Jersey Shore faces east.
Jersey shore dunes.
Farming scenes like harvesting cranberries in fall: http://aesop.rutgers.edu …anberry_Harvesting_79.htm (external link)

Small fascinating places like Ringing Rocks across DE River in Bucks Co, PA.

There is no limit anywhere on planet of what to photograph.

Ok, now I've got some ideas:

Hike in the Sourland Preserve, Hillsborough
Merrill Creek Reservoir for Eagles.
Princeton for architecture
Lighthouses, Manasquan Inlet
A trip to Lambertville/New Hope take Westville Rd from Hillsborough
Great Swamp, Basking Ridge

Wait - let me guess - you've never been to New Jersey... or at least never outside Newark? Trust me, there is a reason it's known as the garden state. ;)
