I just received latest issue of EOS magazine, in which it announced its digital printing service to public. It used to be available to professional wedding, portrait and sports photographers.

Here is their printing pricing:

9x6 inch £0.95 per print
12x8 inch £1.45 per print

regardless quantity, postage and packing is free, but minimum order £10

If you would like to try out, just send images on CD to: EOS Print Service, The Old Barn, Ball Lane, Tackley, Kidlington, Oxon OX5 3AG, UK, payment by cheque, payable to EOS Magazine.

of course, don't forget your address and daytime phone number.

you can find more information on www.eos-magazine.com (external link)

btw, i don't work for them or have anything related to them, just thought i'd share this information with you guys.

I also saw this and was less than impressed with the fact that there is no mention of:

- file format
- DPI
- colour space, or
- print profiles

And no phone number or e-mail address to contact them and ask about these things.

Regards,

well, they didn't provide too much information on the print details, but you should find more information online, if not, they must have contact details ... yeah, it's kind disappointing that they could have offered more technical details

I use the Colab in Coventry. I used to use their profesional print services which were excellent and this is matched by their digital service. One of the big pluses is that I can FTP my files to them and they happily take 30Mb + TIF files.

Again I dont work for them, I have just been really pleased with the service.

check them out here http://www.colab.co.uk/ (external link)

have fun

Sorry sGu it's a bit of a hijack but on topic (ish)
