which lens adapter

which lens adapter is best for my g3 a 52mm or 58mm and why? any reply would be helpful as I am new to my g3 and this forum so thanks in advance for any and all help!

What you need to consider is whether or not you plan to use an add-on telephoto or wide angle lens. If you don't, then either is fine. You'll need to get filters that match whatever adapter (52 or 58mm) that you get.

If you do think you'll use a telephoto or wide angle add-on lens, you'll need to think about which brand you intend to use. Here's a chart that gives the possibilities:

The 58mm adapter will block more of the viewfinder/flash however they both make the viewfinder pretty useless so dont make that a deciding factor!

I bought the 58mm adapter so I could use the canon telephoto lens - 58mm filters etc. tend to be slightly more expensive though.
