The principal came in to the class, as we still have another twenty minutes before the period ended and had to explain that it wasn't nice to torment the subs. "Although," he said, "the Harp Seal thing was pretty funny."

I'll bet that would make his insurance premiums increase a little bit... ;)

She left the classroom in tears.

Man, you were mean to the sub....for shame Puds.:lol::lol:

was funny though.

Reminds me of this one professor I had in college....you could tell she was one of those nerd types while in school. Well, we had one class session which she made everyone stand up in front of the class to read their papers. So, naturally, people started to whisper and talk to eachother until she had enough of it. She stopped the person at the podium and lectured the class how it was rude to talk and whisper when someone was up front reading their paper and that she hated it when people did that to her in college. She went on and on about it even saying "I may have not been a popular person in school...", and she kept going until class finished. I think she had a complex...she was especially mean to the jock types and social butterflies. One of her rules was that if you were in sports and missed a class with a test or quiz, oh well, you got a failing grade for that assignment.

I went to a private school for a year. I remember one teacher who would paddle us troublemakers. He had a paddle like a small cutting board that he had drilled holes through, in the belief that it caused less wind resistance, and he could get up more speed with it.

It sure was a different world back then!

LOL! My mom broke two of those on my older brother. We made them in wood shop class.Spaghetti measurers. (external link)

A nice lively orange hello from here.

One of my fave's. RunDMC was actually credited with bringing Aerosmith back to the top with this mix.
