Just checked and my "preordered" 20D has been shipped by 2 day UPS...

Here is how:
Make a new e-mail to tracking@bhphotovideo.com (external link)

Put your order number ONLY as the subject line... Nothing else in the message...

I had an automated e-mail response in a minute that included my UPS tracking number...

OK, I admit it... I capture souls with my camera!

Interesting. My online "My Account" says nothing about shipment, etc.

The email says "Shipped Complete" and gives me a UPS tracking number which isn't in the UPS system yet (but that's expected). Said it shipped at 6:20 EDT.

Very interesting.... NYC to Boston means a good chance that I'll have it tomorrow...

You can take my 100-400 L away when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

That is why I passed the tip along...

That is why I passed the tip along... The e-mail system has faster updates... I'm still waiting for them to e-mail me and let me know it's on the way...

Glad it helped and I hope you get yours tomorrow...

Ugh, no response from their automated tracking system. I overnighted mine at 3:55 EST, I was told their computers were down, but did receive a confirmation that they received my order, but no tracking number :(

SENster... They may still ship in the AM

If it didn't go out tonight, they will probably ship it in the AM... That should get it to you on Thursday...

B&H are closing Wednesday afternoon for religious holidays and I'd expect every order would have been shipped by then... See their main page for details...

Keep checking by e-mail using your order number...

I don't have a camera store within a few hours drive so I had to pick a "mail order" store... B&H has worked out well so far... I'll hate it when someone saves 10% at Sears or Dell but ours are going to get to us pronto...

Good luck...

Don't know if someone mentioned it previously...but in order for you to be able to access your order via their website, it had to be placed via the website. In other words, if you placed the order by phone, I don't think it is accessible via the website.

B&H order tracking...

If you receive your order number or order number confirmation by e-mail you can check it's status and get your tracking number by e-mail auto-response.
Just use the same e-mail address that B&H sent the confirmation to when making the e-mail request...
