I've been playing with my Christmas present to my self, I haven't had time until now as my daughter has been up from Cornwall for Christmas but she went home this morning. The wife and I have spent most of the day getting the house back to normal but at 6 0'clock I decided enough was enough and I wanted to play, boy this MP-e65 is hard to focus when the subject is moving. I just grabbed some leaf litter and had a go with what ever was in there, there was the usual springtails but also there was this little guy/gal. No idea what it is, it was about the same length as a good springtail about 3mm in length and very active. Took about a dozen shots at 5x using the ring flash and this one is the best of the bunch, it's going to take a lot of practise to get some good shots with this lens me thinks.
