Am I still welcome?
Well I am giving Nikon a go, selling all my Canon gear to make the switch!
Hope I am still welcome here. :)

I saw your stuff on sale at FM. Which camera/lenses did you switch to or planning to switch to?

Not everyone is rich like MDJAK ;-)a

For me I couldn't afford to buy a Nikon AND keep a Canon system - I am going to assume the same might be true for the OP...

I picked up the 70-200 so far and plan on getting either the 17-55 or the
24-70. Also looking at the 12-24 and the 14-24 and then theres the long end.
It's a change :) Both great systems

How'd you find the D300 vs the 1dmk2N? I'm tempted by the D300 for sure, just not by the price of my nikon lens equivalents. Also I might be looking to buy a 1dmk2N :p

I've been looking at the D300, I still have a load of Nikkor lenses (MF & AF) for my F100 and would like to get a Nikon DSLR, but personally I'd still keep my Canon gear.
