I don't like using a neck strap for the G9 and was looking at buying one of these:

or

Does anyone have experience with either of these or know of another option?

I use a ProStrap Deluxe (loop) and am completely happy with it.

It looks like a reasonably good strap for the $.

Any issues ordering through their "CCNow" store? Also, was the postage included in the price?

I discovered them on eBay and ordered there. As I recall, I did pay postage for the eBay order. I haven't heard of any problems with their website store ccNow. And they don't pop up on ResellerRatings.com.

I went ahead and ordered from them as they do show the cost of postage after you click the buy button.

I got one last week, and can now recommend it enthusiastically. It is a very nice strap. The nylon cord that attaches to the camera is quite robust -- not like some of the fishing line found in other straps. The leather is very soft, and it smells like a new pair of leather shoes. The metal slider does not bind and stays in place wherever you set it. Well worth the $14.99!

That looks very comfy for the wrist.

Check out the Camdapter hand straps - ones that go around the back of the hand:

Looks exactly like my setup, Tgara, although I also have the black lens ring. Looks great, doesn't it?! The strap is totally how you describe it. And very comfortable. I had it on my wrist for about 3 hours straight one day and it never felt uncomfortable.

You know, the camera doesn't weigh anything, I'd really like a strap like just the nylon part that CJ has attached to his camera. I just want something to keep me from dropping it, I had a simple nylon one that came with my Panasonic p&s and loved it.

Prostraps are definitely awesome, unfortunately, the only down point if I was to really point it out is that it is a bit long. But nothing that you really need to worry about.
