Hi, I took these shots at the 2006 US Open. I shot them hand held with my 20D, 70-300IS at 1/800, AV10 and ISO 800. I'm interesting in understanding how I can improve them. Also like to know if you think a noise reduction software would clean them up.

The extreme crop of Hewitt was just for fun. The one of Maria had too many distractions like the line judge and TV camera in the background.

Try lowering the ISO. Use a higher shutter speed and a wider aperture. Like f/4 or f/2.8.
