I have been playing around with the color saturation lately but I think I may be overusing it. Does anyone have some tips on how much saturation is too much or guidelines to follow?

I don't like to change much of anything too much, so my saturation limit is plus or minus 12 or 13. If I have to change more than that then I've failed in taking a good picture, or in taking it correctly.

But that's me.

If you think you're overdoing it then you are.
If others think you're overdoing it, then you probably are.

Through something up in Critique and see what people think.

If 12-13 isn't much, then I have not been overdoing it. I rarely go over 10 (in C1 Rebel).

Sorry, 12-13% in PS CS. I rarely go over 2 in Capture 1, but this is because I prefer to do it in PS CS.

You're probably fine, but again, if you think you're overdoing it...
