Did I just overexpose? It was a cloudy day, My 580ex was on ETTL should I have just done without it? I can't quite figure it out. PacAce Cream of the Crop  26,900 posts Likes: 40 Joined Feb 2003 Location: Keystone State, USA More info | Dec 29, 2007 18:28 | #4 Yes, you did overexpose many parts of the pictures, like the woman's vest, the couple's faces, the dog, etc. Maybe you should have dialed in a little bit of minus EC and minus FEC if you really wanted to use the flash. I'm sure the flash didn't help any in that picture and probably just made it worse. ...Leo
