I was just looking at Kelby's book for CS3, it says in the dialog for downloading images through bridge, that you can have bridge downloader start automatically when you attach camera or put card in the reader. I don't seem to have that check box as one of my options. Anyone else see this?

I don't have that option in my version of Bridge either. He may have been using an older version of Bridge.

When I connect a compact flash card, I do get the Windows dialog that gives me the option to use Bride as the download application though.

I checked on the Adobe Bridge forums, and some there are seeing the same thing,
some have it and some don't.

Did anyone specify which version of Bridge had the option? I'm using version 2.1.1.9.

Looks like 2.1.1.9
Also it seems not to matter whether it is Vista or XP.

Alternately get DIM from www.alanlight.com (external link) , it will automatically download when you insert a card (read the install instructions), rename, sort images by date, etc.
