I've found some nice birds over the past 2 days.

This one was taken at Ridgefield NWR in SW Washington State:

Hey TD, that sign is that RLH's favorite spot (I know which one it is from the background)! A lot of times he'll let you get pretty close in your auto. Nice series here!

Cool that you know the place! This was only my 2nd time at Ridgefield. The first time was a quick trip through on my way to Seattle.

I can't wait to go back. The 2nd RLH pic is not cropped at all. That's taken with the 100-400 while sitting in my car, passenger window rolled down and shooting through from the driver's side. The "stay in your vehicle" rule at Ridgefield is a little annoying, but the birds are definitely much less skittish there than anywhere I've been.
