This is the back door to a restaurant in Fayetteville, AR. I liked the way the colors had faded away to almost pastels.

Good eye, that wall and door definitely has a lot of character and texture. Perhaps a bit of cropping can improve the composition focus the eye on the main subject. Just my thoughts, thanks for sharing the photo :)

BottomBracket, I appreciate the response. I always have problems deciding just how to crop a photo and after several tries settled on the one above. I have tried a tighter crop so what do you think about this one? Any better?

I like the first one- I think the overhang and light add more to the photo

I love the first shot... am a door fan myself:) I feel it is just a tad off kilter, though- a problem I have all the time;)

#2 for me.. I also get drawn to doors, maybe because i'm a painter and decorator.. and this is definately in need of some attention... lol

I like the first one better. The cropped image seems too plain, and the shadow on the top is distracting me. The door also seems to be floating in midair in the second image.

Nice crop on #2, the shadow above the door way makes you wonder what is causing it.
