Here's a few pics i took just the other day of one of my friends on a gt snow racer. I wanted to test out my wireless setup in the field, so these are pretty much some of my first shots with my off camera flash setup so far. I used a single 285hv and pocket wizards. comments/critques welcome :)

I really don't care for the first 2. It's hard to distinguish him from the background.

Quick question on how it was shot, since the BG is blurred, were you panning when the shot was taken?

I like the second one the best, it shows the action, the scenery and has a nice dynamic to it that the others don't. to me anyway.

Take some contrast out of the first one and it is outstanding! Looks like you dropped him right into the background.

Is he squatting on that snow racer? If he isn't sitting on something it really looks hard to use.

Just curious, do you have the exif data on the first two? It looks to me like you have a very shallow DOF on the first two shots. I'm a novice when it comes to this but what AV were you shooting at? Good shots but the DOF causing the background and subject to merge makes my eyes lose the focus point. Great concepts and angles though.

lol, thats some intense sledding, the first two look a bit fake to me, kinda like they were cut out and pasted onto the backround

If you have Zoombrowser EX, you can see the settings the pictures were shot at. You right click on the pictures, select save as........ Now open them in Zoombrowser on your computer, select Preview mode, and all the settings will be on the right side.

Hope this helps..
