Although my husband doesn't know it this wasp has built it's nest not far from the back door. I watched it construct the tunnel, later noticed it was sealed then today it's open again.

There is no mud about here now (it's been over 40 deg the last few days) so it must be getting water from the bird bath to make the mud. You can see that the entrance is still wet mud. Sue

I don't even know of they sting, I had a nasty experience with Paper Wasps when I stuck my nose in their business! Sue
