I haven't posted an image of mine for a while here, so thought it was about time I did. Here's a recent pic, taken in early December near the small village of Dysart on the Firth of Forth. All C&C welcomed.

Amazing. I hope I can capture such shots in a few months when I visit Scotland.

Thank you for the very kind comments everybody! Sperlock, I'm sure you'll get some cracking shots while you're over here. There is plenty of fantastic scenery and with the sun being lower on the horizon, golden hour lasts that little bit longer. :) :)

That is *fantastic*

The reflection on the rocks in the foreground really does it for me. Good choice on the extra long exposure, as you'd not have that without it.

The misty water mixes extremely well with the flowing clouds, I think it balances the background of the image perfectly.

Excellent, excellent, excellent, I love it. Technically it's superb, and it's oozing with atmosphere - get this printed and hung on the wall!

Great shot... wonderful colours!

That's a lovely photograph.

Did the sun require any work in post processing or did you get it all under control with the filters when you took the shot?

Mike
