Victoria Crowned Pigeon

This Victoria Crowned Pigeon lives in the jungles of New Guinea. These shots I took a month ago in Thailand's Safari World, where they have a huge gage where you can meet these beatiful birds 'eye to eye'.

These pigeons had also a funny habbit: they were resting on one side on the ground keeping the wing up at the same time. Don't know if they are doing that when they are free.
