I need an opinion on something....remember how I told you the photographer had my camera during the kid's wedding (the ceremony part)? Well, after they were pronounced husband and wife they took a photo of themselves with a P&S (it didn't turn out....sadly but it was such a funny thing for a bride and groom to do) and the photog took a photo of them doing it...it didn't turn out...blurry (I don't think she used the * button to focus...I told her about it but hardly any shots of the ceremony are in focus)...but because we're a photography family I've tried to do my best to salvage that shot. I've turned it into a painting like thing with textures and ect to soften the look...does this work at all? (I couldn't figure out any other way to save it)

I like your edit! (then again you can probably count on my opinion being the opposite most of the time I guess )

The super-increased contrast, especially around their faces, helps increase perceptual sharpness. It also helps to think of this as a 'fun' shot, not a dead serious shot (I'm sure you have many good ones already). It helps that the pose is a fun one.

Then again, I'm the one shooting with the Holga so who am I to talk :D

It's a 120 m hill. You think they walk up it? And what goes up must come down. Just ask T.D. (but bring him some burn ointment when you do!).

Wise. He's like Steroidal Mean. Like what happens to Mean when you take away that really tasty party platter of meats and cheeses. Super Mean.

LOL... reminded me of the Simpson's rerun I saw the other day. Homer buys a teleport machine and has 1/2 beside the couch and 1/2 next to the fridge. I can just imagine a teleport machine at the end of the ramp and the other end downhill. World record is a sure thing.;)

Yep, that's why I like to carry one around with me in my pickup :-D. I have to admit though, it takes some time to set up every time I want to use it.

You guys will be so proud of me! I got 94 photos done (and in the process of being uploaded) over the last 24 hrs! I'm almost done...only a few of the dance and the boquet/garter left! WOO HOOOOOO

and thanks Yoda and Riley, I'm glad. Maybe they'll like it too. I think if they print it on canvas, it'll be cute :)

Found a new song I like. I'm Still a Guy by Brad Paisley.
"These days there's dudes getting facials. Manicured, waxed and botoxed. With deep spray-on tans and creamy lotiony hands, you can't grip a tacklebox.

Yeah with all of these men lining up to get neutered, it's hip now to be feminized. I don't highlight my hair. I've still got a pair.
Yeah honey, I'm still a guy"
