Oh well snow camp is always lots of fun. Problem is, we never seem to plan things as far ahead around here as the Scouts do!

Yeah.. and all you do up there is sit in a warm tent eating food, drinking coke, playing cribbage, and BS'ing... I think we will have more fun :-D

Not in a car!

The 600 was big enough. Trying to wield that thing while sitting in the cab of Chris' Tahoe, handholding it through the window.... quite the workout.

One from the 600:

WOW!

I don't see a line of people begging you to quit Lisa...sheeeeeeeeeeesh...we aren't apt to complain about nice shots here. I figured you would try the TCs on the 300 just to see how it responded....You could have had a 600 f/5.6 IS....

No. We didn't try it.

Will the sigma 2xtc work on it? That's the only one I have (the 1.4 is the Canon)

Oh, and speaking of Sigma, I mentioned to you all that I've questioned Sigma, gently, but firmly about the Bigma repair. Tonight I got an email that they're going to fix it for free!!:lol::lol:

Chris, if you want to set it up with the 2x and put it on the M3 so that it will AF, tomorrow, you can.
