Thanks... so he was shooting ISO640, 1/250, f/3.5... close to what I was doing - but his lights must have been stronger or closer - because I like that look better!

Somewhere there is a whole spiel about strobing a BB game...the best lighting was when they were able to set the strobes directly above the court. I'll look and see if I can find it when I get a spare moment or two...seems like they were using 4-AB800s. People that know me call me Dan

That makes sense... I had 8.5 fps at my disposal, but I was on burst-L and never fired off more than 2 shots at a time.
