I guess I should see if Wuudle would be willing to take on that challenge.

What challenge? watching you strip? Chippendales are the boy dancers. You just post when you are gonna do it, and I'm sure we'll be able to get you an audience.

I haven't gone back and read the 10000000 pages since I last joined in, but I did see some super photos! great work, folks!

Happy anniversary, Chief! I hope you and Lois had a super day.

Mooooooo, y'all.

Very nice . . . Which side of Asheville were you?

We were west of Asheville some where between Hot Springs and Tennessee in the Cherokee National Forest in the Painted Rock Area.

Paint Creek-Paint Mountain Loop (Forest Roads 31, 41 and 54, and State Route 107) This drive follows the meandering path of Paint Creek to historic Paint Rock at the French Broad River. If you're looking for more variety, wind up Paint Mountain on Forest Road 54 through Lone Pine Gap for scenic mountain vistas. Forest roads are gravel and narrow.

HEY WOOL!
I did more digging... I wanted to see a map of this area! So here it is: http://www.fs.fed.us …f/North_Cher_Tab_2007.pdf (external link)

So the moment we hit the pavement after following River Rd (1301) we were in Tennessee. I KNOW I saw at one point we were on National Forest Rd 31 I remember seeing a sign and wondering why there wasn't a flippin' map somewhere in one of those information boards...

Monday there is a clerk in a store heree in Denmark that are going to wish he/she did not goto work monday. I am mad as hell.

Yesterday my sister and her husband held their birthday party. He was 50 years so it was a big party with lots of guests. About 2 weeks ago I bought their presents. I have been really busy this months so when I was able to buy all the presents in the same store I was pleased. And even more pleased that they gift wrapped all of them.

Well. Yesterday night when the presents was unwrapped it turned out that one of the gift had an EMPTY box. Wtf.... The clerk did not check that there was something in the box before wrapping them. That store better give me a new box with contents without a word or hell breaks loose. One thing is for sure I will never ever buy anything in that chain of stores anymore. :mad:

That's crazy, Tommy!

Oh my god. It is shocking how poor the youth today are at simple math.

I was just down buying newspapers among other things and the total ended at 51 DKK. So I gave the clerk which was a young girl probably 16 or 17 years old 100 DKK. Then I checked my coins and said I had 1 DKK. At that time she had punched it in on the register and the register said I should have 49 DKK back. She was unable to add 1 DKK to 49 DKK. She asked me how much it was

This makes me crazy as well. All they know is what the cash register tells them. Their brain does not function. It's appalling.

Today was a turning point for me. I wore a wedding ring for the first time ever (well first time I've ever worn a ring that didn't squirt water out of it).

Was strange, but I'll get used to it. The wedding rings will be ready to pick up from the jewellers in a month's time.

And so it begins....

How big was the lead ball attached to it?

It's a very short chain as well. I don't get much leeway.

This morning, we went to a shop called "Confetti" - a shop entirely geared toward selling you anything to do with weddings - all the table-stop stuff you could ever dream off.

It's like suffering the death of a thousand paper-cuts... :D

I'm sure it'll all be fine, there's just so many teeny tiny details to go through.

My condolences....

TMS continues on my end of the world. Decided to commit to one Vivitar 285HV flash and two trigger/receiver pairs in case I want to shoot digital next to film. My digital is going to be the 'polaroid back' for the medium format. Now I can fire the 430EX by radio too.

You really only need radio outdoors, where the ST-E2 tends to fall flat. Indoors, the ST-E2 is perfect.

Except that for some reason this purchase didn't feel like TMS. Buying film - now that feels like TMS.
