That's right. He's in Lebanon.

I can't figure something out. I just bought 2 tripod rings for both our 70-200 f4IS lenses.

They were 12.50 from Hong Kong. $16. shipping.

B&H charges $149 for them. They look identical. What's the deal?

Don't the 300 and 400 you already have use the same "A" ring? And isn't the Canon "A" ring one that can be removed while the lens is on the camera? If I'm remembering right, you could switch between the 300/400/70-200 and just leave the ring on the tripod the whole time. Now that you've gone and bought them . . .

oh gads, I hope not...I thought the 300 one was too big when I tried it. I'll have to check it out again later...now that I've bought one...sigh

Actually, Puddle has the 400, she only has the 300. But that's pretty much a distinction without a difference . . .

Yeah, what he said, because I can't say it, especially 3 times fast without whistling.

That must get pretty confusing. Do they have name tags or badges or something?

Badges? We don't need no stinkin' badges!

Mike has got me all cornfuzzled. I thought he was saying I went from nice guy to Scott in 2.5 posts....he was really talking about himself.:oops:

Who knew he was EVER a nice guy?! He's a flash stealer. Pure and simple.

Ok, I'm not confused anymore.

Truth be told, it's all Permie's. She just lets Puddle borrow some if it now and again.

Your confused? I don't even know who Scott is. I am just going with the flow. ;)

Am I on some kind of medication today?

No.
