Well kind of anyway! Just replaced all my light bulbs with some new energy efficent types... most went into the trash but I saved a couple when I remembered seeing a shot like this last year some where (tried googling it up but couldn't find it).

C&C welcome and appreciated.

Thanks vwschwartz...

I broke the glass off the bulb by placing it in a paper bag and tapping it with a hammer - the light last for less than a second when you flip the switch on... here's one with the filament dropping just after the above shot.

Cool shots, I've always wanted to do this but dont have a lamp or anything to put the lightbulb in.

Great idea and really well executed! Metering for this must've been a challenge. In fact how did you meter for it? lol.

I'm racking my brains now trying to think if i've got a lamp where the bulb is exposed

Thanks FlexiPack! -- Well that's why you probably need more than one bulb!! The first shots were way overexposed.
