Anyone into transit/railroad photography here?

I would like to ask the very knowledgeable members of this forum which lenses you recommend for photographing transit (subways, railroads & buses). I'm a Canon EOS 10D with a 28-135 mm & Canon G5 user that is upgrading to a 5D or 5D MkII if it's being released anytime soon (been reading the rumors about it).

I definitely want at least two (2) new L lenses. I will be shooting slow and high speed trains. I will also be shooting slow moving buses and a lot of stationary equipment. I need some good advice.
