EVERYONE REPEAT AFTER ME: LIGHTRULES IS AN IDIOT!

Thanks JC4, you've solved my problem. Ridiculous, and flat out embarrassing. I just hope PetKal doesn't see this thread.

6.5 FPS is a lovely sound...

[FWIW, my 20D doesn't have this different mode so I never even thought about it.]

Hahaha. We all have those moments. Glad you didn't have a bad cam.

In High Burst mode, you may find it difficult to take just one shot when desired. On the MKIII, it is next to impossible. I almost always get 2 shots each time, every once in a while I can hit the shutter and get just one shot.

You just gotta be fast! You just gotta be fast! Now imagine I am saying that in an upbeat voice and raising my eyebrows every time I say fast! :p

BTW, I agree though, I was playing with a mates Mk III, and I struggled to take a single shot in high speed burst mode. Sometimes I cant take just one on my 30D. I'm a bit slow.

They do, contrary to popular belief, make manuals for a reason :)

1) RTFM.

LOL, I know. You would think as fast as I am with Halo 3, I could just flick the ol' finger and get one shot when desired wouldn't you? ;)

Thanks John. I do believe this is the first time I've posted a "help me" thread. Thanks all for the information...and the jokes at my expense ;)
