Hey look! This thread is still alive and kicking. Who'd have guess that JoJo's not reading the manual would take on epic proportions? *raises hand!*

LOL Lisa. The funny thing is: I've still yet to read the manual :D

I've glanced at p81 [pdf version online] and that's about it!

And posting in high profile, everyone must read threads such as this will just boost your campaign to get your post count reset.

Hi Lightrules, I got my 40D in 2 weeks ago, and I know it sounds silly, but I have read the manual over about 2.5 times, finding some nuances I didn't catch the first time through.Considering the financial investment I would HIGHLY recommend it for thorough reading :) You might find it interesting to know that depending on the mode/resolution shooting...you can get about 1000 continuous/consecutive burst shots. And btw an 80x CF is more than fast enough for the 40D.

Well, no excuse for you to not be queen of POTN anymore....you have more posts than anyone else in the forum. By something like a factor of 10. Only the queen of POTN could pull off such a feat!

*Bows*. Your highness. :D

EDIT: Make that a factor of 20. :-)

Hi,
New here but I was reading (the forum manual) and you can rest assured that this thread will die, once it hits 10,000 posts. You didn't read the manual, well I won't take it personally, as I write manuals for a living.

Sorry but after reading 22 pages of this thread laughing the whole way through I had join in the fun.

Suggestions welcome.

That's reassuring, only 9,670 to go.
