Finally the rain stopped this arvo which gave me enough time to grab some pics of a garden which has not looked so green in a very long time. C&C welcome.

Very nice pictures. I like the 2nd and 7th one. I was just wondering though what happened with the rose? did a bug eat it?

thanks. Not sure what happened to the rose, i assume some little critter got his mitts onto it and made himself a nice little shelter.

btw, do any of the images seem washed out to you or anyone else? I posted the same images elsewhere and they said that all but 2 and 7 seemed washed out, wondering if maybe i have a monitor which is not calibrated correctly and as a result i am post processing incorrectly.

No they didn't see washed out to me but I know what you mean. I some time try to upload pictures and they look fine on my computer but on the net they end up washed out. Did you alter the pictures in any way? if so what program did you use because I used Lightroom and when I upload those they look washed out.

I haven't used adobe raw yet but I know photo shop should be ok. So I'm not quite sure why it does that. Sorry hopefully some one else will know.

the pics are very bright on my crt monitor (not calibrated)
I like your concepts but I can't say that I am fond of the shallow depth of field.
to each his own, of course and I take nothing from your skills at all.

funny you say that, has been nothing but wet and miserable here the last week or so. Today is clear though, but still too wet to mow the 20cm long grass outside :(

Very nice pics and they don't seem washed out on my screen.

I like the rose the most and the last flower.
