Can Rebel XT trigger Infinity Gadget wireless trigger?

My XT couldn't trigger it. The test light on transmitter did not blink. Tried it on friend's 40D, and it worked. My XT can trigger ETTL flash. Is the XT disabled this way? Or is it just my XT is somehow damaged? Could XTi owner comment if it can trigger the darn thing?

I'm able to trigger them from my XT just fine. Maybe there's a cf to shut off the hotshoe?

Mine work with 20,30,40D and XT.

Thanks guys for the reply. I'm curious what could be wrong, seems it works for a ETTL flash. Is there a setting somewhere?

Try not tightening the locking ring on the transmitter.
Sometimes this pulls the unit up and the contacts don't touch.

Also, what direction do you have the transmitter mounted? From operating position looking down on the camera/hotshoe the lettering on top of the transmitter should be right-side-up.
