Yesterday morning I ordered Maureen an S5 IS and it just arrived. Now that is service and the shipping for the camera was free. (I did have to pay for the shipping for the SD card) It was well packaged and secure.
Happy anniversary honey

Newegg and Tiger are my two favorites. Both have offered great service and I have tested Tiger's return policy several times and they have never failed me. Have fuin with your new stuff. :)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I like Newegg and especially since they are literally 5 mins from my home. Unfortunately, they don't allow local pick up :(

Congrats Souzas on the S5 IS...nice pick up.

i agree, ive ordered memory cards, HDD's, HDD cases as well as some other stuff. everything came packed in a box that was stuffed with peanuts so there was no movement at all in side the box (even a box with just a CF card)

and i agree, very quick shipping

30D & 28-135 kit lens, 50mm F/1.8 MKII, monopod, tipod w/pan tilt head, 430EX w/ sto-fen omni bounce,

On the brown truck, due 10/26 ... 70-200 2.8L IS :D

I've built several complete computer systems from parts I've ordered from Newegg. For the most part they are the best or very close to being the best price on computer parts. The thing that makes them shine is their quick shipping and packing accuracy.

Their prices on cameras and lenses isn't the best though.

That is a drawback but with free shipping (for me it amounts to next day delivery) and a free SD card the price was essentially a wash with B&H, tax included.

Happy Anniversary Souza's!!!!!!

Indeed _ I ordered the wife a Canon Powershot SD870 IS for Christmas that UPS held up in shipment on a 2 day delivery, 3 days before Santa was to come. Spoke with a CS manager at newegg.com and she shipped me another one out paying for FedEx over night delivery. Got the camera the next day by 4:00 pm while the other was credited back to my payment account.
