I know there are a lot of you that don't like this softening effect, but I thought it lent itself well to these sweet little girls. How could I have improved the images?

One big problem I see is, I am not sure what your'e doing, but your eyes aren't blending in, it seems I can see the obvious place you had the eyes seperate and it's not blended at all.. The original edits up at the top look kind of like aliens, hehe. The original photos are gorgeous, just play with some levels/tones/etc in photoshop! I am super cool n' stuff.
