I got my new XTi for christmas after lusting for it for months (years?) on end and was blown away when i finally got it! I'm sure we all know that feeling!

Ok so here is my problem... The other day i grabbed my camera bag and started to head out the door when my wife informed me that we were having her parents over for dinner... and i was cooking! So later that evening i figured i'd try some night shots... remembering that i had to look something up on here, i set down my bag and logged on. Once i found the bit of knowledge i was searching for i stepped outside ONLY to find that it was raining... :-( NOW i'm sitting at work for 12.5 hours with only a PhotoPro magazine and POTN to tide me over...

THAT is my only problem with my XTi... the fact that it is sitting in my camera bag, neglected and alone! *sigh*

Not sure what to do with this space yet... but in the meantime, here's my Little Bitty Gear List:lol:

Oh, and here is my flickr (external link) if anyone is interested! And my very INACTIVE Model Mayhem (external link)

No need to be melodramatic, there ARE things available to be shot indoors, you know.

My apologies... being melodramatic was not my intent. We too often read about those who find fault with their gear.

I was just going for a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor about how the only fault i can find with mine is a lack of TIME! :-)

I love POTN and want to thank everyone for the knowledge they pass along to people like myself!

I was sure you were going to say you left your bag with camera out in the rain.

Glad you didn't.

If you have pets, you can chase them around the house with the camera until they relent and let you take some pictures.

Still Life is good during wet weather. I've practiced on cereal boxes, lamp shades, camera/lens boxes, books, coins, etc. Good practice! You can always delete the shots.

Too much stuff, not enough shooting time.
