I sat there for ages again today, hoping to get some better shots and not one attempted bath by anything! Typical!

Great set Mike. I've got a bird bath up and it's been used only a few times. I've got a heater in it now though, just to keep enough ice thawed to give them drinking water.

That bird bath is in a nice position, exactly 30 feet from where I sit with my camera. A little bit too far, but not too bad. There isn't much behind it, so I get a good background blur at 200mm.

No ice here yet, but I think the cold weather is coming!
