Here is another official POTN meeting this Sat. at Udvar Hazy at Dulles. Parking costs, but entrance is free. Meeting inside by the gift shop. If you can come, bring your gear and we'll end up in the coffee shop to compare.

Jan 08, 2008 09:57 | #4 I can't find my ST-E2 anywhere, Jon. I might have left it in a bag somewhere. Should I get another PWII now instead? I haven't been able to locate it for months, and I've been doing a lot of 2 lights off camera shoots lately. I've been using the 580 on the 5D with a lumiquest lightbox and triggering the 430 and 550 through umbrellas. It works but I'd rather use the ST-E2 or the PWII's. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!

Jan 14, 2008 07:16 | #13 Jon was really far away. The hanger is huge with the space shuttle in it and we were on the other side under some planes and he still got that shot handheld. I was impressed. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!

Flash and IS. I need to go back and re-shoot it with focus on the MMU rather than the shuttle. DoF at f/3.2's pretty shallow even at 100 ft, and the MMU's another 50-60 ft. beyond that. Jon
