Fruit Dove close-up

I took this a few weeks ago of a special dove. It's called a Rose-crowned Fruit Dove. It was the first time I ever saw one, and was amazed.... The 400mm lens is new to me, so was absolutely amazed at the bokeh and sharpness, although it is a very heavy lens for bird photography.... used a monopod for this one... There is just no doubting the sharpness of this lens...

This is a Wite-browed Woodswallow. Note some damage to his head (not sure what caused that). I noted also it was ringed, but not able to read number from it.

Nice dove portrait, indeed it is lovely and sharp. First time seeing one for me too :D
