Trying some sunset HDRs in Paris. 3 shots bracketed at +/-2 stops. Photomatix and lightroom on the 16 bit tiff.

Looks like an amazing place. I've not been to Paris since I was about 16 years old.

I'm loving the colours on the bridge. I feel that the composition doesnt work. It looks like the midway point between two wonderful images - the bridge with the sunset and the statue against that wonderful sky.

Would love to see some more from the same area if you have any.

Chris

Great shot but I'm not sure about the two ghost looking figures.

You should get back here then, great place.

I see what you mean about the composition but it was one of my first times trying bracketing so I got lost in thought about that. I have some other shots, I think I have one with the bridge and the sunset behind to work on next. I had the wigma in my bag I should really have got that on to get the WA perspective.

cheers

Thanks BitterSweet.

Yeah bloody tourists, getting in my shot. The Eiffel tower is behind me so they were taking photos towards that. There are always loads of people there so my timing was pretty good getting only 2 in. Guess I could try cloning them out.

cheers

I want to get back there for some more sunsets. Luckily it is only 10 minutes walk from my apartment.

Thanks Timster, funny you mention Barcelona and Venice as I visited both of those last year!! I posted a couple of Gaudi threads after.
