What's happened to canons download library.
I can't find a user manual for my Ixus 75 or any other camera for that matter.

Can anyone help me?

Start here:

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=SupportIndexAct (external link)

You may need to disable the pop-up blocker or use CONTROL+Click or SHIFT+Click (Windows and IE7)

  • In PRODUCT MENU choose the camera model from the dropdown menus
  • Click GO
  • In the new page click the ‘Drivers & Downloads’ tab
  • Click the link to the pdf file
  • Below the DISCLAIMER click ‘I Agree – Begin Download’

At this point, the actual download will vary depending on the browser options/plugins.
In my IE 7.0 a new window with Acrobat Reader opens. You can click the floppy icon (Saves a copy of the file).

Good luck

The drop down menus don't seem to work!
I did not see a pop up blocker sign.
If you can download it? could I ask you to E-mail me a copy?

Thanks in advance.

The latest version of IE if I understand what you mean, does that make a difference?

In IE7 go to the "Tools" menu and choose "Pop-up Blocker". If the Pop-up Blocker is enabled, you'll see a sub-menu option for "Pop-up Blocker Settings". You can add specific websites which will be allowed to create pop-ups or change the behaviour of the blocker from there. If you generally don't want pop-ups, you might just disable the blocker, download the Canon manual you need (from the above link) and then re-enable the pop-up blocker.
