No not the girlfriend ;) My best friend Christina. Some things, y'know, you
just have problems talking to with your girlfriend or best guy friend...
Ah well. Very important person to me, her and her boyfriend are def. the
best friends one could ask for. Extremely caring and loyal.

Anyways I shot these earlier today with a eye to try and not have the same
lighting problems as I had yesterday. I think I did better today :) Where I
could, I used my DIY gold reflector, though the sun kept disappearing behind the clouds.

C&C, edits, tips n' tricks, etc. always welcomed

Nice shots, the one on the top right and bottom right are outstanding. Too bad about the sun hiding and taking away the reflector privileges. For whatever it's worth, I think just a little (more?) fill flash would have helped when you couldn't use the reflector.

Some actually used the on-board flash... no external yet :o
But when I do... oohhhh booyy!! Sooo many helpful
goodies I cannot use with the on-board flash. Thanks for the C&C :)

The one on the lower right is very nice, I agree with your comment about someone to talk to also.

Jonathan,

These are very nice pictures.. I wish they were a little bigger but from what I can tell I really like the last one the most. It is a bummer that the sun kept hiding on you.. I am also glad that you have such a good friend to talk with then you need it.. :)

I tried to get her to smile. I would talk and crack jokes while shooting photos
but she hardly seemed to smile. Only when the camera is
around does she get a little self-conscience

Do I like her? No I love her. She's like a sister to me. Her wonderful friends,
now them I do like alot ;) If only they were single. Alas their not but she keeps
putting in the good word for me in case one of them break up.

Heather - did you click on them? Most are sized 700-800 x Y in full (web) size.
Thanks again for all the comments & critiques :) :) Getting better, shot by shot ;)

Sorry Jonathan I didn't click on them. I guess I am just plain lazy.. Plus I forget that sometimes you can click on the pictures and it pulls them up in a different screen.. :) Nice work anyways. :)

Nice work. I like what you are trying to do. Fully agree with needing a friend to talk to. Of everything in life I ever had a good friend is the most priceless. Also, back on topic, lower right is a favorite, very cute girl. need to get her to smile more.

How about a almost smile, smile, and a smirk? I went back and re-did some others
that I didn't think I could save (abit soft) but figured I would give it ago...

She just hates to show ANY emotion/smile/etc. when there is a camera around.
Oh well. Can't win 'em all... Thanks for the comment :) BTW, I liked some of your
pics Leninglass (read through some of your threads).
