Actually, the rebates have been extended to 17 Feb. Also here's (external link) the link to the market watch area that has a B&H code to ice the cake. About $1590 before shipping.

Filters = B+W, Heliopan, Hoya Pro1. I own a couple of UV's of the first that I used on my Hasselblads. I bought a CPL from the last; all superior glass, with "superior" pricing too. But you get what you pay for. ;)

B&H have had it up on their site for a few days, called to confirm when I saw it. Another member said he confirmed with Amazon. It's not unheard of for Canon to extend rebates, but I don't know why their site hasn't updated.

Agree w/ Stuart. Don't skimp on the UV filter if you really need one for protection.

Just bought two Heliopans for mine, UV and a polarizer, both multi coated. Not cheap though. £130 for both. I figured that I might as well get the best seeing as the lens cost so much. I'm going to be posting a IQ comparison between the two and no filter at all when they arrive.

5D & Grip, 17-40 f4, 70-200 f2.8 IS, 50mm 1.4, 85mm1.2 580EX 430EX II, Tamron SP AF 90mm f/2.8 Macro. Rickety tripod.
