Here's few photos from last week of skiing World Cup.

First ski jumping World Cup. With last race, 56th 4 Hills Tournament, and Janne Ahonen of Finland made it into history as first one winning overall 4 Hills Tournament for fifth time.

Then some alpine skiing. Maribor, Slovenia was hosting 44th edition of Golden Fox trophy, which is also one of traditional stations of Alpine skiing World cup. And few photos from alpine skiing:

It might look like happy day, but believe me... it's just juice name, not overall mood of all of us, who had to spent about 4 hours on course.

I picked a bit different photos this time, so I would appreciate some feedback. "Standard" ones are as always on PhotoSI web (external link).

Considering my first four skiing World Cup in 2008, I must say, my 2008 wish, didn't really come true. I wished for nice, or at least not rainy/snowy weather when covering outdoor sports. And in 12 days of 2008, 4 World cup races, I had pleasure to be wet 4 times... yup every single time! In whole least year with 30 or so skiing World cup covered, I was wet exactly once. Now 4 out of 4... hmm.. let's wait and see what winter will still bring me, but base on current average, whatever comes, it won't be good.

Have fun,
Primoz

Really enjoyed this set Primoz. #1 is my fave of the set. The 'wider view' seen in #2, #4 and #6 is refreshing and I can imagine that they'd have even more impact when printed nice and big. Hope you've warmed up!

Nope.... Bode won today in Wengen, Switzerland. This was women World cup and was in Maribor, Slovenia. These two places are about 600km apart :)

Gavin somehow I doubt these photos will ever be printed big and nice. Most of our stuff ends up in newspapers. Even if those newspapers are biggest in few countries, they still just newspaper.
But who cares, just that bills are paid :) Otherwise I'm warm and fine :) It wasn't even cold. In Bischofshofen on ski jumping it was a bit over 0, which is warm for me. And in Maribor it was +10! Yesterday after race, we were drinking coffee outside of press center in t-shirt! In middle of January! Even winters are not what they used to be.
